Be the First to Know: Upcoming Science Conferences 2016 - 2018

The science conferencing circuit is getting more exciting and diversified by the day as new national and regional groupings enter the fray. This press point brings together the 'talking heads' of five such events taking place in the next nine months where media presence is both encouraged and facilitated.
These include Dr Lidia Brito to explain UNESCO's launch of the first Latin American & Caribbean Open Forum (CILAC) taking place in Montevideo, Uruguay from 7 – 9 September; Dr Miyoko O. Watanabe to explain the Japan Science & Technology Agency's Science Agora taking place in Tokyo from 3 – 6 November; Daan du Toit to explain Science Forum South Africa taking place in Pretoria from 8 – 9 December; Dr Rush Holt to explain AAAS Boston, 16 – 20 February, 2017; Princess Sumaya bint Hassan to explain World Science Forum Jordan November 2017; and Dr Anne Cambon-Thomsen to explain Euroscience Open Forum Toulouse 2018.
