RESULTS: Travel & Accommodation Grant Scheme for 25 Journalists

The World Science Forum's Delivery Team were thrilled to receive an unprecedented 450 applications from over 95 countries for the 25 media grants being offered!

Each and every one of you shall receive a follow-up 'thank you' email and be kept abreast of the WSF's media programme in the weeks ahead.

Please note that the selection panel had a really difficult time narrowing down an agreed list and have selected a reserve list of 15 candidates, so you may still be contacted.

If you have not already done so, it might be a good idea to research visa requirements and links to all Embassies from the FAQs page of the WSF Website: http://worldscienceforum.org/faq

A key objective of the conference will be promoting the role of robust science journalism and science communication. For example, we are making every effort to include expert communicators in all plenaries and sessions.

We would particularly encourage you to get involved via our online platforms and to follow the breaking news I will be flagging by following me on @SciComEU

Kind regards,

Aidan Gilligan,
SciCom – Making Sense of Science,
International Media Adviser, World Science Forum 2017 Jordan
